All the Republican candidates completely suck*. And the richest one is going to win.

*Except half of Ron Paul. And John Huntsman who has 1%.

Meanwhile, Obama signed a law on New Years Eve (deliberately choosing a time when everyone would be too busy to notice) that means Americans can be arrested and detained indefinitely without trial, thereby showing his liberal campaign for election was a calculated sham.

Listening to Republican candidates and the 'base' (non-college educated whites) you'd think the most important issues facing America were abortion and (removing) gay rights. The fact the country is trillions in debt (and borrowing money from China) hardly comes up, and none of them have any sort of concrete plan, all they say is they are going to put America "back on the right track", whatever that means.

Yeah the thing i have noticed is that, and this goes for the UK politicians as well, not a single one of them has actually moved with the times and by this i mean, actually coming up with a speech that is full of substance about the things that the general populace actually cares about and they can actually do something about.
I watched Machete the other night and there was this whole illegal alien senator (De Niro), that film actually had more to say on the issue than any politician, which is depressing really.
