Green Hornet, Green Lantern, The Hangover Part II - None of these deserve to be anywhere near a best of the year list. Hornet didn't work, Lantern was an almost complete misfire from what it should have been, Hangover II was a so-so comedy but definitely a cynical exercise that wasn't a patch on the first and had an uncomfortably mean tone for much of the time (I still have a problem with the son losing his fingers and no one giving a damn).

From what I've seen of The Sitter it looks like a horrible misfire too.

WHAT

Where did you get this from? How do you make room for Apes, First Class and Three Musketeers but not DRIVE?!

He publishes his top 10 every year, it was on all the usual film blogs yesterday. It's real.

I'm pretty sure 'Nice Try' kinda means a failed attempt. It's beneath Honourable Mentions anyway. So Drive is worse than Green Lantern, according to Quentin Tarantino.

It makes sense, though. All his best films are better versions of crappy old movies he loved growing up. And his worst movies are the ones that are closest to those old b-movies he's emulating.

The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.
The Three Muskteers.

I knew I didn't like that man and now I finally have my reason.

Spelt wrong 7 times.

Bet Quentin's looking forward to this year's Resident Evil.
