It's been a while since the heyday of Warring Magician movies, and with The Prestige and that one with Ed Norton firmly behind us we can more than make room for this tale of two ill-tempered illusionists.



The Vegas set comedy co-stars Olivia Wilde, James Gandolfini and Steve Buscemi and is currently filming in Vegas. I mean, where else? Look at Carrell, look at him! He looks like Barry Manilow dressed up as Liza Minnelli. Meanwhile Jim Carrey's take on the David Blaine/Criss Angel style rock star magician somehow winds up being reminiscent of Sam Rockwell in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. This isn't exactly a lot to go on, but at this stage I'm pretty much sold. Burt Wonderstone will hit screens in 2013.
