First Poster for Tim Burton's Frankenweenie!

The upcoming Tim Burton animation Frankenweenie, about a young man's undead dog, is set to hit screens at the end of the year, and we have the first piece of promotion for the film, take a look at the brand new poster below.



It does a pretty great job of setting the tone and hinting at the themes. It's the first original Tim Burton concept to reach our screens in a long, long time, with Burton having turned his attention to making kooky adaptations of existing properties of late. With Frankenweenie based on an original short of his, hopefully Burton to grace us with one of his finer films. Frankenweenie will be released in 3D on October 5th and feature the vocal talents of Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, Tom Kenny and Martin Landau.
