Prometheus - Viral Marketing Starring Guy Pearce

For those of you who don't know TED, it is a series of lectures about any and all topics, ranging from science to sociology to entertainment. A few years back, J.J. Abrams gave a great talk about mystery and it looks like TED's connection to the entertainment industry did not stop there.

In a stroke of marketing inspiration, a new (hopefully) viral video has surfaced of Guy Pearce giving a TED talk in character. And, for those of you not in the know, that character is Peter Weyland, the fictional entrepreneur whose name is seen on the logo of the corporation that funded the Nostromo in Alien.

Wow you got that up fast. You actually posted the first version, I since made notes. Not sure if the Weyland Corp. was actually called "The Company"
