Avengers Character Posters

As cities begin to sell out of tickets for midnight screenings of The Avengers, Marvel has started unveiling character posters for Nick Fury's supergroup, take a look.



Like the main poster for the movie, these aren't especially cool or exciting, but this movie isn't really relying on the posters to generate excitement. Presumably Thor is on his way, it's strange he wouldn't be unveiled before Hawkeye at least...but then Hawkeye is sharing a poster, so his ego is in check and Thor's a god, I'm sure he can deal with being saved until last. The Avengers stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo,  Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson and hits cinemas in May.

On a sidenote, I convinced myself Thor is gonna die in the last ten minutes, more on this paranoia as it progresses.

You're that sure it's out of the realms of possibility? I'm not sure either way, it just entered my head. It's seemingly less likely the more I think about it because the whole point of the movie is the team coming together, so if anyone bites it (which is sort of a Whedon thing to do) it'd likely be a minor character. It's just Thor is the only lead I could see it happening with.

I literally have no idea what's going to happen. I just get the feeling they won't end on a downer or risk major character death. But then Thor dying isn't really dying, it's just getting banished to another world I guess.
