Here is the first on-set picture of Javier Bardem from Skyfall: dressed as a police man and clearly up to no good… (SPOILER!)



Bardem has chosen his roles carefully and relatively sparingly since his Oscar-winning turn in No Country For Old Men, and in Skyfall will return to a villain role for the first time since.

I’m very excited to see the rest of the odd-looking blonde hair sneaking out from under Bardem’s police cap. But will it rival his famously dodgy cut from No Country For Old Men? I think not!

Skyfall will be Daniel Craig’s third outing as Bond, with Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road To Perdition) directing. Appearing alongside Bardem and Craig will be Judi Dench (making her 7th appearance as M), Ralph Fiennes and Naomi Harris. Ben Whishaw comes in to update the much-loved Bond character Q. Details of the plot are notoriously under wraps. But with such an impressive creative team behind it, Skyfall is sure to be a thrilling ride.

Skyfall is set for a 9th November release in the US. 26th October in the UK.
