I post this only because Chris Pine needs to fire his agent. His post-Star Trek choices have been HORRIBLE.

He was passed over for Gosling with The Ides of March. I've never felt so sorry for a potential superstar who basically has it made in my life. Did Gosling really need Drive and that movie in the same year?

You have to see Ides to know what I mean Sheridan, I really did like it, but you could've swapped Gosling out for Pine and you'd have lost nothing, in fact the movie may have received more attention without Drive overshadowing it and it would've been a good movie for Pine, who I do think deserves better than the crapola he's been pumping out. He's had no better luck than Sam Worthington, and that is a crime. Ryan Reynolds is another dude who deserves better.

Have watched Ides Of March. Yeah, while I agree that not having Ryan Gosling would have helped it stand out more from other great movies last year, there's no doubt that Chris Pine would not have been as good in the lead role. P.S. Philip Seymour Hoffman, man, what a great actor.

If Chris Pine isn't careful he's going to 'do a Josh Hartnett' with his career.
