Trailer Preview - Looper

Ok, so Sony has now released a short video for Rian Johnson’s new film Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. It’s not the trailer. It’s a trailer for the trailer I guess. These little pre-trailer videos are getting quite trendy.

Rian Johnson and Gordon-Levitt have teamed up again after Johnson’s 2005 debut - Brick. Which was awesome. Looper follows gangster JGL as he is tasked with killing his future self – Bruce Willis! One can only imagine the action and chaos that will ensue. But for the juicy bits, you’ll have to wait a few days, when the official trailer is due online. Looper is due for release on September 28th – both in the US and UK.

Fun fact, Gordon-Levitt has an uncredited cameo on The Brothers Bloom, which technically makes this their third film together.

In some shots JGL looks great. In others he looks like he's just got changed from headlining a drag show.

I think they did pretty good. They should've made Willis wear brown contacts though, JGL has enough going on with the nose lips and completely different eyebrows.
