A brand spanking new ‘international’ trailer has been released for The Amazing Spider-Man!
The aptly-named director Mark Webb (500 Day Of Summer) takes the reins for this summer’s reboot of the massive Marvel franchise, with a lot of focus towards the loss of Peter Parker’s (Andrew Garfield) parents – adding some weight to what would essentially be a rehashed origin story, which is great to see.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=xij6DMm5vmkShacked up with Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field), Peter crosses paths with Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) while trying to learned the truth about the death of his parents… add into the mix Peter being bitten by a radioactive spider, and we’ve got ourselves a Spider-Man movie.
There are also some teasing glimpses of the film’s villain The Lizard – who will hopefully go some way into blocking Spider-Man 3’s Venom out of our memories. But remember, this ain’t a sequel, it’s a reboot! Our favourite word!
Yahoo Movies have released two new posters too!
