New Images: Django Unchained

A new selection of images from Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained have been released.

The hotly-anticipated Western sees Jamie Foxx star as former slave Django, who sets out to rescue his wife from the sadistic smoking-jacket-clad plantation owner Leonardo DiCaprio. Tarantino also reunites with the Oscar winning Inglourious Basterds actor Christoph Waltz, playing bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz.

Rumour has it the first trailer will be attached to the release of Prometheus on June 8 - but I suspect (and hope!) we'll be seeing it on the internet pretty soon.

Django Unchained is set for a December 25 release in the US and January 18 in the UK.
