Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot are keeping busy. With Star Trek 2 recently having completed filming, the production associates are developing two new projects. One is Wunderkind, a 70s set thriller following a young CIA Nazi hunter and his older Mossad counterpart whose paths cross, resulting in various twists and turns.
The other is sci-fi script The God Particle, inspired by a particle accelerator some say could destroy Earth by means of a black hole - the Large Hadron Collider. In The God Particle it happens, and Earth disappears as an American space station crew look on. What will they do when the world has ended? Are they alone? The movie is supposed to be made on a budget of just $5 million (just like Duncan Jones' Moon), so they must have faith that they have a solid script and won't need to rely on sci-fi spectacle for the movie to be a hit.
Which of these projects sound the most exciting to you?
