My goddaughter was playing this when i went to see her yesterday and as much as i love video games, i just couldn't get into this. Apart from the dire graphics the gameplay was just so pedestrian for me.

That was my first reaction. It was full year after first seeing it that I gave a proper try.

Trust me, it's brilliant. It takes time to figure what it's appeal is. Also it has to be on the PC, not any other device.

I was never a great gamer, I fear my lack of gaming over the past years has absolutely crippled me, I probably suck at everything that isn't the first ever Sonic game.

Online multiplayer shooters make me feel like I suck so bad there must be something wrong with me as a person.

In Minecraft there is no enemy. It's about mining and searching for resources, to build your house before the monsters come at night. Think I Am Legend by way of adult's lego, on an epic scale.
