I hope the games do start with what he described, might be interested then. Bloody Olympic tax. Can I get a ticket - No. Were the tickets sold out - No. They tried to charge £2012 for a large number to the opening ceremony and when they didn't sell instead of dropping the price to, say, £60, they gave them away to children. Load of arse.

Watched the highlights yesterday and every single event had at least 30% empty seats, absolutely shocking.

They claim the empty seats are because ticket holders didn't turn up but I believe that's only partly true. They got greedy. Last time I checked a few weeks back there were tickets to things like diving but they were about £600, who's going to pay that?

£600! that's outrageous, no wonder they were empty. Have you noticed that now pretty much every seat is taken? Apparently they've been giving seats to members of the armed forces, which in itself is no bad thing but what a farce this has turned out to be.
