I saw him asked the exact same questions on live American TV he was incredibly polite then. Now it's not live and it's "only Australia" he can be an arse.
And he has described Cruise's reaction, he said he had "strong issues about some aspects," or something like that.
Her questions were filmed after the interview was over, it's a one camera shoot.
The mainstream showbiz TV voice is so annoying.

Yeah I know that guy's videos. I kinda like his stuff, his questions are good for avoiding cliche but he's a bit attention-seeking and cloying. He's nearly always more dressed up than the star of the movie. If he's the top guy it just highlights how low the quality of junket interviewers is.
Not a problem, if Sam Jackson asked I would have been dropping the N-word left and right, regardless of the movie... or maybe not.

Yeah, I think his questions make up for his smarminess and obsequiousness, personally. And yeah, I'm talking strictly junket stuff. In that department he outshines everyone, as he's the only one that thinks outside of the box with his questions whilst keeping things on topic. It bugs me when people don't answer his questions, its like they're so used to being on autopilot that thinking is too much. I get that junkets are tiring, but it's not like they're HARD question, just ones they haven't been asked 1000 times already. As far as non-junket interviewers go, there ar loads better, obviously.
And yeah, I think MOST people would be asking themselves "is this a trap?" when confronted that way by SLJ. You could potentially derail the entire interview.

I have to say I've just got into his movie star interviews in the last couple of weeks while doing the Trek transfers and I'm really enjoying the honesty of them.
