Source: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117980473.html?categoryid=13&cs=1With the Writer's Guild strike lasting far longer than anyone could have predicted (most of them thought the writers would come back in from the cold when they got hungry), studios are now preparing themselves for a walkout of the Screen Actors.
The actors are scheduled to join their writing brethren on June 30, which presents a major problem for the studios. Films are already being halted because nobody is around to make the scripts not suck (Paul W.S. Anderson, I'm looking at you), and a walkout by the actors would be disastrous. For the studios. Who would be forced to give away a couple of bucks extra a week. Hmm.
Anyway, what this means is that studios are about to go apeshit crazy and make as many films as they possibly can between now and June 30 and many films in '09 have release dates already set in stone. (Except for
Transformers 2, on which production halted because Michael Bay was having sex with a helicopter and got caught.)
Without further ado, here is the complete list of films currently shooting or about to shoot. Not including animated films, or films in post production.
