New Wes Craven Horror

Wes Craven has got a new horror project in the works, cryptically called '25/8'.  The film is reported to follow the storyline of a "signature villian" (is that a clue? or supposed to be a clue?) turning up once more, 15 years after his supposed death, to kill 7 children that were born on the 25/8, the night he "died". Apparently it's likely to be more "thriller than slasher", so maybe a darker, more serious tone than "Scream".

This doesn't have the most promising premise in the world, but when he's on form Wes Craven can knock out top notch popcorn thrillers (RedEye was terrific). I'd love to see him do another slasher, but I can see why he'd be reluctant.
