Hugo Weaving has been cast as Detective Aberline in Joe Johnston's upcoming "Wolfman" remake.

His role will include running, jumping and chasing Benicio Del Toro's werewolf, while probably shooting guns and arching his eyebrows.

You may recognise Weaving from such films as The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, V Fior Vendetta and Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

Anthony Hopkins is on board to play Weaving's dad, with Emily Blunt in the female lead role.

Shooting starts next month in London, from a script by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), with rewrites by David Self (Road to Perdition.)
