OK, now I'm a huge fan of the Zombie sub-genre but it really has been overcooked recently, so much so that even Neil Marshall ( The Descent, Doomsday) has postponed production on his oil rig horror flick Outpost, so it was interesting to trudge through the web today and find an independent Zombie movie starring Mr razor fingers himself, Robert Englund wrapping production as i type. Here are a couple of FX pics: Now i know they're just photos but it looks like they've got a bit of cash to put behind the film so when i saw the trailer below i was a tad disappointed to say the least as it looks like they spent the money on getting drunk as skunks rather than, oh i don't know, the production maybe! Anyway maybe i'm being too harsh, maybe it will be a good fun, zombie comedy with sex and a naked Jenna which will ease the pain.

This looks absolutely perfect for those sci-fi channel nights. You know, the ones that include the likes of Sabretooth and Frankenfish.

Yeah very true and check out this latest poster I know the Grindhouse look is in danger of being done-to-death but i'd have this on my wall, if only for my eternal love for Jameson

That is a great poster actually. Tag line doesn't quite work.

Yeah that tag line smells like last minute panic at the graphics office, guess the budget was eaten up by Jameson and Englund, although by the look on his face i get the feeling he'd have done this movie for free!

The whole film is probably the result of somebody, somewhere having a last minute panic.
That Robert Englund look is I'd imagine the one he gave his agent when he was told "You've been dropped from the Nightmare remake, but... I got you a supporting role in Zombie Strippers".

Haha yeah, i was going with the look he has on his face in the trailer when he's surrounded by hot chicksa dn throwing fake moolah everywhere, the poster one does look as you say, that or he's just realised he's left his mobile at the B&Q checkout.

I just caught the redband trailer of this today. Is it just me, or was there not much stuff in that trailer which would constitute it being "redband"? I mean, it certainly didn't have the gore factor of the AVP:R redband, or the adult humor of the Sarah Marshall redband. Methinks they may have done it just to say, "hey look, we've got a redband, look how hardcore that is". Or maybe I'm just desensitized to zombie strippers after my prolonged exposure, who knows.

I'm just amazed how much attention this is getting around the various movie sites.

Yeah ive been having a surf of all things horror and its nuts for this movie out there, which is kind of a surprise seeing as England hasn't done anything worth a bucket of popcorn for years and as much as i have an instant 'babies arm holding a peach' when i normally see Jameson is on screen, her last mainstream effort Samhain was ropier than a box of old rope from Ropesville.

This movie looks freaking awesome!! I will definitely watch it. Jenna is HOT! Any ideas on when the release date it. Sure, it is a campy B movie but those are the ones that make the most money.

'Tis true and it'll be going straight to DVD over here unless they can secure a big screen deal. I'm all for flicks like this though, if the script is actually any good, otherwise its more money that could've been better spent buying me a Lambo.

It is my understanding that most of the money is going into building up buzz for thus flick and that the movie itself is indeed as lame of quality as the trailers. I work for a horror website and quite frankly people look to horror as the easy money root and lie, lie, lie to make their movie sound cool. I interviewed Penny Drake who is in the film, she seemed to like Jenna Jameson, but I've seen her acting before and quite frankly she sucks.

I actually saw this movie. It was not good. I can very easily understand a B movie. But this movie was bad at being bad. It wasn't funny, and it wasn't as splattery as it should've been to make up for the lack of laughs. Just a ton of wasted potential for a B classic. Of course, the moment the filmmakers think that because it's a B movie, everyone in the movie should be aware of this, it usually takes a dive. That's kind of what happened with Snakes on a Plane.
