Weekend Box Office - Will Ferrell and Royal Catfights

Will Ferrell's comedy Semi-Pro opened in top condition this weekend, scoring an estimated 15.2m at the box office.  According to accountants, this makes his afro the most valuable hair ever.  In fact, the box office potential of the hair has officially given the Adam Sandler scream a run for its money.

The period drama The Other Boleyn Girl opened at fourth with 8.3m in sales.  The high earning-per-theater of the movie has shown studio heads that people will always pay to see a cat fight, no matter how old it is.

And finally, the nose-comedy Penelope came in at number eight with 4m.  Personally, I'd rather see Christina Ricci chained to a heater than chained to a disfigurement.
