Keanu Reeves is a Street King - Trailer

Now here's a guy that everyone loves to rip the piss out of, me, i think Reeves is a guy who knows his limits and his market and plays them perfectly. He's been quietly going about his business and has just wrapped on the David Ayer directed Street Kings.

In it Reeves plays Tom Ludlow a veteran LAPD cop (are there any other kind?) who struggles with his wifes death and when evidence in the execution of a fellow officer implicates him, he is forced to confront the cop culture that he's been part of and relied on his entire career and ultimately questioning the loyalties of everyone he once trusted.



Scripted by James Ellroy (The Black Dahlia) and Kurt Wimmer (Ultraviolet) this looks to be a return to familiar Speed routes but that's no bad thing as i for one would rather watch a Training Day/Speed hybrid than sit through Matrix: Revelations any day.
