It might seem that we can't shut up about Indy, but the news keeps coming - and so much of it makes us say WHAT THE CHRIST and tug at the little remaining hair we have.
Yep, it's no big surprise, but that we saw it coming like a giant rolling ball doesn't stop the news of another DVD boxed set for the original trilogy being really bloody annoying.
Another case of Lucasitis. Another boxed set, gathering dust on the shelf, looking a bit sad for its lack of features. Oh, poor boxed set, touted and then flouted! Where is your vignette on the melting head effect? Where is your knowing look back at the series from the cast and crew of Indy 4? Nowhere. You're defunct. Bye bye.
When will studios stop raping consumers - and most horribly, their die-hard fans
- for every last penny? Indy is merched out to the hilt (the Lego does make me go funny in a special place): what is this boxed set supposed to do for us? And we can expect vanilla, special and blu-ray versions of Indy 4 before Christmas... and another, 'complete' boxed set before long. Anyone else getting sick of it?
Honestly! At what point does the trade off between money and long-term relationship with movie goers FINALLY start to lean in our favour?
