Hey folks, turns out that serial minor role actor Neil McDonough might get his first taste of headlining a film as he's just landed the role of legendary game boss M. Bison in the Street-Fighter Movie! You may recognise McDoughnut, sorry, Neil, from his roles in the "Band Of Brothers" TV series, as the bad guy in under-rated The Rock movie "Walking Tall" or a bit -part in "Star Trek: First Contact".

I think it's an interesting choice to get McDononogonough, ahh, whatever, because how he'll play this role will be a mystery. Is he going to try and stay true to the original video-game and just be weird/psychotic, is he going to camp it up a la Raul Julia (RIP) or will he come up with something completely different? McD usually plays his roles seriously with a natural charisma behind him so to me, he *may* be out of his element here.

At least he's got an eerie resemblance to the dude in this picture:

I swear that's him under there...

Until then, here's another portion of one my of my favourite Internet series: "Street Fighter - The Later Years"...

Oh, and here's a ninja playing Balrog's Stage music... couldn't find M.Bison's one... Sad

Interesting story actually, the "M" in "M. Bison" originally stood for "Mike" as in "Mike Bison" because in Japan, the boxer character (we all know as Balrog) is actually called "M. Bison" as he was originally based on Mike Tyson, but to avoid lawsuits and such, the name was changed for Western release. Which makes you wonder...

What does the "M" stand for now?

- Michael Bison?
- Marco Bison (as in the SFII - Later years video)?
- Mary Bison?

or even possibly...

- Movie-Moron Bison...

Hmm...

So what do you reckon Mahmoud, this actually gonna be worth seeing? it looks like they think it will be a franchise starter but the 'talent' is seriously wanting, could be a beer and pizza kind of blast though.

Well Mr. Mango, I've always said that a film is only as good as its script and considering that the writer Justin Marks is a relative unknown, I think it's a 50-50 whether this film does the business or not... But I will say this, the following has swayed me to buy a ticket...

Kristin Kreuk wearing this:

and doing THIS!  Grin

That was the most PG-13 picture I could find on the net while still getting my point across (and there were a LOT worse, believe me)! It's the same reason why I went to see DOA in the screens too (as the weak-link within a triple bill of Talladega Nights and Little Miss Sunshine).

I have uncovered one thing though. There seems to be a HUGE fascination with the size of Chun-Li's thighs on the Internet so expect a lot of the above (hopefully) to come. Furthermore.... EVERYONE, and I mean, E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E, should pray that the film doesn't end up like this pile of monkey mess...

If I was given the job of directing this movie, I'd wake up every night in a cold sweat.
