I watched Behind The Mask a few months back. Great movie. Smartest slasher since Scream.

Bought Dead Wood another low budget British horror, which was actually the worst horror film i have seen in, well, ever. Just terrible acting, a plot with so many holes that literally every decision made by the characters defies logic. There are no likeable characters and the ending is just beyond laughable. The only and i mean only, redeeming feature is that some of the effects are pretty good but that's about it, its shocking how a film like this got distribution let alone made in the first place.
But i wont be beaten i will find that elusive Brit horror that is actually good, i will, although if you guys have any suggestions you could save me a lot of pain.

I know Dalmatian Jaws has been waiting a long time for a DeadWood movie, so this is going to be a real disappointment.
Brit Horrors that are good; The Descent, Shaun Of The Dead

What did you think of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy, T.Ross? How would you compare him with Englund?

I bought Grace on dvd. This movie is so awesome. My 2nd time watching it. So creepy. I love the actress who plays the mom, Jordan Ladd. She is in Cabin Fever (Great film), Hostel 2 and Deathproof. To my indie-horror friends...watch this. -T.ROSS

I have only seen Rob Zombie's first Halloween movie. I'm a huge fan of the original, it literally was a cinematic inspiration to me. I wasn't so keen on Rob's vision of it, that put me off seeing the second one. How do his first and second movies compare?

I love Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 more everytime I watch it. I love how Michael is more violent. It's like he has perfected his murder style. This movie is awesome, hands down.

Just bought:
Paranormal Activity - still effective and some of the best scares I've seen in a LONG Time. Love how subtle and simple it is.
Trick 'r Treat - really fun movie, well done. Though in a way this cried out to be PG-13. It's so light and fun and then all of a sudden there's nudity, gore, and swearing that feels out of place with the tone. Odd.

Just ordered Trick r Treat on your comments dalmatianjaws Bought and watched Diary of the Dead and even though i wasn't expecting a great film i was still hoping for something more inspiring than the insipid plot and overacting frenzy that was on display. I really like Romero and i know its almost heretical to say but there wasn't one single scene that, not one that made me thankful I'd say through this tosh. It was so bad that up until the illogical ending i was praying that it was all a hoax ala the George Orwell reference at the start of the film but no it was just genuinely terrible.

You thought Diary of the Dead was bad, try Survival of the Dead ... that was my wife's intro to Romero and she's sworn him off for life. Shockingly inept film.
I'm curious how you'll like Trick r Treat, it's a throwback anthology film, very very fun.
Deadgirl - If I haven't said it already: genius. Just go buy it. Gross as hell. Hilarious and disturbing. Brilliant social commentary.
