Burn After Reading is the working title of the new Coen brothers' film slated to open this year's Venice Film Festival. Recently taking home multiple Oscars for their blood chilling picture, No Country for Old Men, Joel & Ethan Coen are sure to find the same international success with their next undertaking.

The film, currently in post-production, is centered around a former CIA agent whose memoirs end up in the possession of two gym employees who attempt to sell it.

Its five star lineup includes: George Clooney, John Malkovich, Brad Pitt, Tilda Swinton, & Frances McDormand.

The Venice Film Festival will run from the 27th of August to the 6th of September. More can be read about the festival here.

Brad Pitt is so desparate for an Oscar now, it influences all his choices. Babel - didn't work. Jesse James - didn't work. Lead in a Coen Brothers - surely this time?...

So nervous about this. The Coens almost struck out before No Country came along, and the first two swings were comedies.

I must be the only person in the world that does not like George Clooney

I am not always too keen on him myself. If it weren't for his startup roles as Booker Brooks, the boss, on Roseanne & Bobby the detective on The Golden Girls, then I may not have ever paid very much attention to him at all.
