X-Files: I want to Believe - Full Theatrical Trailer

Well after the fan tingling but ultimately hollow teaser trailer for the second X-Files movie we now have the full theatrical version.



Billy Connolly's 'Father Joe' has more of a focus and most of the lines and while at the moment it does appear to be treading well trodden ground with its nod to the alien conspiracy that has doegged Mulder's life and career, you never quite know what Chris Carter will do so maybe all is not as it seems.

I'm not holding this up to be the blockbuster of the summer but the silver screen could do a lot worse than have another adventure of Mulder and Scully gracing it this '08 in my book.

I saw the trailer for X-files while watching the dumb Happening film. I kinda have mixed feelings about this one.  From what I gather, there is this weird guru guy who can see visions of some alien race and there is one of these human looking aliens buried beneath a iced up river who he locates. Scully and Mulder investigate.
Maybe if this film was released 2 or 3 years ago, it would have been on the WOW factor, but now, there really isn't anything motivating me to see it. I guess I will check it out if there is nothing else good available.

Yeah, i'm guessing that it took Carter quite a bit of grovelling to get this green lit, its got a fan base but even they are getting on a bit. Its got the makings of a sleeper, which if it hits big, will probably open the purses of Fox considerably.

I'm down with the low budget. I'm down with sleeper hit. I think it can do it, if it's at the peak quality level of the show's greatest episodes, this will be incredible.

But if another franchise is ruined this summer I'm committing geek suicide and marrying a beautiful woman.
