Tropic Thunder mockumentary: Rain of Madness

From Paramount publicity comes the latest onslaught of online marketing ... RAIN OF MADNESS, a fake blog about a fake documentary about a fake movie within the real war comedy, Tropic Thunder.

Stiller and Gang are not satisfied with spoofing Coppola's classic Apocalypse Now, so it seems they're also spoofing the famous 1991 documentary, Hearts of Darkness.

The trailer is great. Winner of the Tiajuana Shrieking Donkey Award? Brilliant.

I personally love this idea, but I wonder if this latest viral marketing is overkill. Thoughts?
