The official
program for the 2008 Comic-Con has been released, and it looks like a solid year for movies, but lacks the
HUZZAH of last year's
Indy 4 and
Iron Man panels.
Leading the pack is Universal's
Wolfman panel on Friday, an attempt to milk more out of their three horror franchises.

With Rick Baker helming the FX it promises to be visually awesome, at the very least, and with Benicio Del Toro under the latex we'll probably have a bit more weight in the acting department.
Also on Friday is the
Hobbit "rumor" panel (not affiliated with the actual movie, apparently) and of course
The Watchmen panel.
Saturday is swamped with the rest of Universal's line-up (
Mummy 3, Death Race, Land of the Lost), as well as Pixar (
Up), Sony (
Underworld 3 and
Quarantine), and
Terminator 4.
Sunday holds panels for the
Friday the 13th remake,
Hamlet 2, and the line-up for Rogue Pictures.
Despite all the major studio panels, I find it interesting that the most interesting preview is the independent steam-punk film the Mutant Chronicles starring Thomas Jane (
The Mist, The Punisher) and Ron Perlman (
Hellboy)
