You can now check out the teaser to the upcoming sequel/prequel/"do over"/reimagining/studio whored TERMINATOR: SALVATION over at Yahoo! Movies.  Since its a teaser we don't get to see a whole lot of the movie but there are a few interested images peppered throughout.
However, there is the appearance of the always awesome Christian Bale (. . . If I were ever to switch sides and convert to man-love the dreamy Christian would be my one true love . . . But I digress to the appreciation of everyone reading this story) as a grown-up "John Conner" at the kick-off of the much-heralded cyborg doomsday.  It should be shortly thereafter that he switches to rock'em-sock'em robot mode and proceeds to kicks some metallic ass.  However, after an alleged draft of the script leaked out, there has been some speculation as to Bale's true identity based on a ridiculous plot twist that could start its own apocalypse based on the reaction of fanboys.  The film is directed by visual stylist (and hooker connoseuier) McG, who brought us the craptacular "CHARLIE'S ANGELS" and its just-plain-crap sequel.

Ha, I just logged on to blog about this.

I know this film has no chance of greatness with McG at the helm, but whoever designed this teaser deserves an award. The static emulating the T2 score, the imagery of the dude caught ina  web of cables in an old power tower, Bale as Conner, and the fact that the whole thing feels like a message from the future ... brilliant. Damn them for making a teaser this creative, it gives me hope the movie won't destroy yet another franchise (which really is dead after the T3 fiasco).

Awesome trailer.  My feelings are so mixed over this.  McG directing and the supposed PG-13 rating definitely sent up some red flags, but I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.  I doubt I'd be as kind if Christian Bale weren't in it.

On a side note, while T3 certainly wasn't near the previous two in terms of "wow", I wouldn't describe it as a fiasco.  It was fun, but just not much more.

T3 was fine, but really paled in comparison to the two previous films. The new, much blander, cast really didn't help. And Arnie was too old.
