Yahoo! Movies for THE SPIRIT. I was underwhelmed by the former (How excited can you really get for a McG movie really? Even if it does star Batman), but find the latter to be sleek, stylish and captivating. While there was mumblings that the first trailer to THE SPIRIT bore more than a passing visual sense to Miller's (and co-director Robert Rodriguez') SIN CITY, this one reveals it to have an incredible (at times downright surreal) look all its own. The film is based on Will Eisner's classic 40s comics and stars Gabriel Macht as the supernatural hero who fights the bad forces from the shadows of Central City, most prominently a villain known as "The Octopus" (played by Samuel L. Jackson, who at one point appears dressed as a Nazi!) However, more importantly, is its female cavalcade of beauties (whose combined hotness could finally bring Global Warning to its catastrophic full potential) that consists of Scarlett Johannson, Eva Mendes, Jamie King and Sarah Paulson.
