Well folks, for those of you hoping that the new Mummy movie would be ... you know ... enjoyable ... just dash your hope upon the rocks.

It has George Lucas-itis.

Folks, there is a scene where they YODEL to get  YETIS to run in and kick a guy in the ASS and he flies through the air and the two yetis look at each other, grin and pump their fists in a "YES!" gesture.

I love fun. I'm all for fun. But please folks, PLEASE don't talk down to us. We weren't dumb enough to like Indy IV, please don't dumbify your cheesy rip-off to the point of idiocy.

I don 't know who is to blame, if it's Rob Cohen or Brendan Fraser (who, judging by his antics on stage needs to cut back on the cocaine ... my favorite part was when he went on a rant about the bad CGI on the Scorpion King at the end of the second film).

But we need to find those responsible and keep them from ever making another movie.

We had a review go up on the front page a few days ago, he wasn't impressed either.

Dalmatian, I have to disagree with you. The ONLY part of the movie I found entertaining was the one with the Yeti's. Maybe because it was the only scene that 1) had some originality to it and
2) had some some decent action to it as well.
The rest (car chase scene and final battle) were more like "been there, saw it and done that"
Nothing original. That is what killed this film. Well, that, the bad acting and the shitty script.
It had potential and it was wasted.
