I'll have more on the Drag Me to Hell panel in a bit, but here's a mini update from Comic-Con!

From Sam Raimi's mouth, next week his brother Ivan is visiting and they're going to work on the next EVIL DEAD MOVIE!!

And yes, it will be with Bruce Campbell. Sam claimed that he wants to test Bruce's pain tolerance. Awesome!

Geeks and horror-lovers REJOICE!

Maybe Ash should visit the same cabin with his new girlfriend.  Nothing bad ever happens in the woods.

I never understood why Ash would go back to the same cabin in the woods after his first bad experience!!!
Also, Evil Dead 3 was shitty. Why did they make it into a comedy??
I hope this new movie was like the first one: dark, serious and gritty.

Evil Dead 2 takes place the morning after (the evil turned it into nighttime). He didn't go back to the same cabin, he never left.

The discrepancies come from the alternate take on Evil Dead that exists in the Evil Dead 2 prologue ... they did the same thing with Army of Darkness.

Evil Dead was always a comedy, from the very first film but more so in the second.. The third one just had the least amount of gore.

I cant wait for another installment to the Evil Dead Series, I agree even the first film has comedy to it, the chick they lock in the basement cellar thing, the lines she says and they way she acts, they had to write that to geta kick out of people.  I am also glad that they have Bruce Campbell starring in it, I dont think you can make an Evil Dead movie without Ash.  So do you know if the next film is going to be a remake or a sequel?

Plus I'll be waiting for your Drag Me To Hell update, I want to know more about that film!

My Drage Me to Hell update can be found here.

It's nothing short of amazing. It was written back in the Evil Dead days ... so imagine that independant spirit with Raimi's honed talent ... the clips they showed were funny and phenomenal.

I've read both here on our wonderful internet of information, that the next Evil Dead film will be a remake, thenI read that it will be a sequel.
I wonder what Rami has in store for us?

Poor Ash...

At this stage no one's sure which it is. Probably even Raimi.

There has been talk of BOTH for a long while now ... the vibe at comic-con was certainly "sequel" although it was always put as "4th Evil Dead Movie"
