I don't know if anyone else is with me on this, but that poster really looks like a book cover, not a film poster.

Agreed! the image itself is awesome, but the perfectly centered box with a barcode really makes if feel like a book.

Agreed, very bookish.  I think it might be the anonymity and color scheme that makes it appear as such.  Intriguing, though, I know if I saw this hanging in a theater my "guh?" alarm would go off.
